We have been where we have never been before. We have walked were we have never walked before, and we are not thru yet. I am not talking about physical places. We are not the only team that God has ever sent on a mission trip, but our trip was “ A God Thing”.
The Lord said, “You will need prayer warriors.” Each team member in the weeks before the trip made a list of people’s names that said they would be prayer warriors for them. They brought the lists on the trip and I carried them with us every place we went.
Day 1 Saturday: Two members were almost left at the Houston Airport, but the Lord wanted all of us in Yorito. One of the member’s suitcases was lost, but the Lord provided.
Day 2 Sunday: We arrive in Yorito. Sunday School is the only service they have on Sunday mornings. We asked if there could be more. Brother Ron Gilbreath, Sister Eleanor, and the local pastor preached. We had a foot washing ceremony and communion also. This was an AWESOME BLESSING!! The service lasted two hours and forty-five minutes. “It Was A God Thing” this morning. We attended Marco Tuleo’s church that night in Yoro with Brother Ron preaching again. The service lasted two and a half hours. We certainly had church today. Thanks Lord.
Day 3 Monday: Rebecca scouts out Yorito for information (refer back to her emails). We put on a Vacation Bible School at 2:00 pm. We did not bring any material for V.B.S. The Lord provided. We began installing the lights in the church in Yorito, and the insulation in the ceiling in the new mission house.

Day 4 Tuesday: V.B.S. continued at 2:00 pm. The ladies did a great job. We continued with the lights, wiring, and insulation. Rebecca stayed with Sister Eleanor in Yorito and they had church service that night. That was a God thing. Some of the team was ill. The others attended Marco Tuleo’s church once again. Marco preached.

Day 5 Wednesday: V.B.S. continued at 2:00 pm. We began to do small jobs in Yorito’s mission house and church. We walked the streets of Yorito and did much fellowshipping.

Day 6 Thursday: We built two crosses. We received a major blessing by taking turns walking one of the crosses up and down the streets thru the town of Yorito. We then put the cross up at the mission house for everyone to see. This was awesome Dear Lord. The second cross was put up on the side of a steep hill by some of the team members. Beautiful! They did a great job. This was the last day of V. B. S.
Day 7 Friday: We told everyone in Yorito goodbye, and what a wonderful time we had. We told them that our Honduras friends blessed us by allowing us to come and fellowship with them in their country and their homes. We then headed to San Pedro Sula. It was very hot there.

Day 8 Saturday: This was our off day. We were free to do our own thing. That night several of us walk the streets and handed out Spanish Bibles to “The Ladies of the Night.” Our interpreters then witness to them. Awesome time.

Day 9 Sunday: We arrive back in the United States. What a welcome committee we had waiting for us. This trip was a “God Thing”.
