Birthing Project Seminar
CHIMES, PINCC, Birthing Project. All working together in the Garifuna
Villages of Tocomachu, Honduras as part of an extended Medical Brigade for
teaching, interaction, and medical clinics. May '06

Theses are the midwife seminar participants in the community center in
Limon, Honduras. The seminar was attended by 22 folks from the Birthing
Project and 55 practicing midwives from the Colon area.

I asked this practising midwife how many babies she had delivered. She
laughed. She is 70 yr.old, has been deliveing since she was a teen agers,
was taught by her mom and grandmother before her.

Graduation following the Birthing Project/Midwife Seminar. These ladies are
all practicing midwives in the Colon area of Honduras. The graduation took
place in Limon, Honduras
