AHMEN's Healthy Eyes Handouts and Posters
I had provided a choice of pictures and my rendention of Spanish for "how to have healthy eyes" to a couple of Spanish speakers to review in preparation for AHMEN's Expanded Eye Care Program in Honduras and to help the Auburn United Methodist Church (Guf's and my church) team in preparation for their trip to Ecuador.
My friend Lydia from Costa Rica selected the pictures and seriously amended my Spanish (Imagine that!) to produce the handout I gave out as part of the Eye Care Manual at our Team Leaders Meeting September 30. It is Attachment 1.
Evidently there are regional differences in Spanish just as there are in English, because I received this morning a copy of the handout Kathy Bryson from SIFAT selected for the AUMC team trip to Ecuador which I am attaching as well.
Donna, Gloria, David, Sister Eleanor, Sandy, and Pat Richard's friend from Honduras, are there changes you would like to suggest before the upcoming teams make permanent clinic posters and produce hundreds of copies to distribute at the Vision Clinics?
I would really appreciate your input and will happily make any changes you think appropriate. Muchos Gracias.
