Sewing School: La Academia, needs your help
Limon Sewing School, our longest running and least supported school in
Honduras, is in need of a little help. Please pass this on to anyone you
know who is interested in the ladies learning to be self-sufficient. If
you have ever visited the sewing school, you know how hard the machines
are worked and what a great job the teachers Yolanda, Jessica, and Ceomi
are doing. They now have a full component of students in both classes and
the work is started on their new building where they will have both the
school and the graduate program where the students can begin to make a
living.
The Limon Sewing School , Limon, Honduras, needs 6 non electric
pedal (treadle) sewing machines these can be purchased in Honduras
for about $100 each. I am trying to raise enough money to purchase
