Garifina-Latino Library Team Forming

There is a new team forming up to distribute the library books to the Garifina Communities July 2008. The Team Leader is Reverend. Alan Gartzhorn
Date: July 20 – 27, 2008
The team will be joining up with CHIMES Jesus Cacho and Bud McKinney. Jesus is the Honduran coordinator of the Library Project.
Bud is the CHIMES road manager.
Take a look at this information and consider going with them for this exciting new aspect of AHMEN’s Mission.
Rev. Alan Gantzhorn, pastor of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Molino, Florida in the Pensacola District of the Alabama West Florida Conference will be the team leader of the VIM team sponsored by the Pensacola District. Alan is also a member of the Cantonment Rotary Club which sponsored the Rotary International matching grant with the Rotary Club in Honduras. Alan has led VIM teams to Costa Rica and recently participated in a team delivering books in El Salvador.

Janet Westlake, President of the Cantonment Rotary Club and a Diaconal Minister in the United Methodist Church, will be responsible for the communication with the Pensacola District, providing information and publicity for the District Web site and to the Pensacola District Churches about the mission trip.
