Plan de Flores Woodworking School: 2008 is now started
Good News: The 2008 School Year has started at the woodworking school in Plan de Flores. We have the same INFOP teacher as last year. He is the bother-in-law of Pastro Ventura of the Cruzado Church in Limon, so he has family and friends in the Limon area. The teacher is paid by INFOP and by his teaching the students get a Government Diploma when they graduate.
What is next?
Each un-sponsored student needs a sponsor. The sponsorship cost $75/mo. This includes room and board, and school supplies for him/her, as well as some incidentals.
What do you get for this? A chance to totally change the life of one person, give them a means of making livable wage, train future leaders of the communities they will return to.
The School itself has some expenses. The total budget for each month is $550. This includes supplies, salary for the director and his family, wood, replacement tools, etc. So far we only have $250. As you can see, we need another $300/mo.
What do you get for this? A chance to change the lives of multiple communities by providing leaders who will not only make a living but take a trade back into their communities.
Nos bendicen para poder ayudara todos para la gloria del Dios,
Bendigas al Ustedes,
(We are blessed to be able to help all for the glory of God)

Blessings,
