AHMEN ANNUAL Meeting: 2010

The dates are October 29th and 30th for our annual AHMEN meeting at SIFAT Campus.

We will focus on several things that we think will both interest your team members and help both your teams and your work in Honduras.

Agenda:

Friday: begin to assemble around 2:30 to 3 PM for round table discussions on:
     
Project and team sustainability, project ideas, team proliferation, how and why mentoring, how we can help each     other in the various projects, and how to develop local leadership.

Saturday will be:

Team/project reports to include: where we are right now
                              Where we want to go
                              How to get there
Rev. Matt Lacy to speak at AHMEN's Annual Conference at SIFAT

"Key note speakers" re:
  LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

                              Membership retention
                              Mentoring leadership and development of leaders
                              How and why to split a team   

  SPIRITUALITY AND SUSTAINABILITY

Cost: there are three categories:
      Weekend full package includes Friday night supper and dormitory sleeping bed
                        Sat morning breakfast
                        Sat noon lunch
                        $40

      Saturday full package includes: Sat morning breakfast
                        Sat noon lunch
                        $15

        Saturday partial package includes: Sat noon lunch
                        $10

These prices include lodge rental and clean up, as well as a wiener roast and s ‘mores supper Friday night that we hope to host with the SIFAT staff and their practicum students from around the world.

      All  team members
      Anyone who you/they think might be interested in learning more about AHMEN and our work there
      Anyone who our organization could benefit from their presence.

We do need to let the folks at SIFAT know the exact number of people coming, so we need for you to pre register by
