Individual Sponsorships: a unique way to extend the hand of love
Twelve years ago, thirteen year old Edwin found his way to Sister Eleanor and the mission compound in Cruzadas, Honduras.
Sister Eleanor has not discussed the details, but she felt his life would be much safer with her in the compound.
One of the ways that people here in America can help the mission in Houduras is to sponsor children. Enter Bill Bryant of Jasper, Alabama.
Three years ago, Bill and Edwin developed a simpatico while while Bill was in Honduras on a Medical Mission. Bill has not been able to return to Honduras over the last couple of years, but he still "works" there. Bill had looked for a way to be a positive influence on Edwin's life and discovered the joy of giving through sponsorship.
Sponsorships give people the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of children without being in Honduras.

Edwin says: I like being here at the mission. There are two dogs in the house Blaky and Mack and I play with them. I love those dogs.
Here I have more fun, play football soccer with Jonian (Sandy's son) in teams. We always win. The school is OK
Thanks for everything
