Report for web page AHMEN's Board of Directors met at Christ UMC, Jasper this Sept. 2011. The meeting was opened and closed with prayer by Bucket. Each team and project is invited to send one voting member.

Areas discussed: Financial report from Sharon Bowie Each team is to encourage all team members to join AHMEN if the team is going to ship via container. We are in the process of re applying for our 501(c)3 status but have been told by our accounting firm that we will have the same number.
Brent and Doris Brady and Byron Morales are working on our "legal Status" in Honduras. It is expected to cost $3,000 and Doris and Brent will become our "legal representatives" in Honduras. --------------- AHMEN SIFAT
Initiative report is as follows: 2011 graduated 50+ Community Agents. 2012 we anticipate having 3 separate areas of workshops. Byron Morales needs an assistant. He anticipates a budget of $2,000/month to cover his expenses and that of his assistant. Benny Rowe challenged each team to pledge $1,000 for this year to help defray these expenses.
Tom Camp challenged each person to look for individual sponsors for this program, much like we do for other sponsored programs. --------------------- Clean Water: It was decided to ask the Clean Water Team to teach a workshop at the Sept 30 - oct 1 meeting in how to set up clean water. In addition, to have a power point in how to get the various villages to "buy into" the idea of clean water. Then ask each team to send two people to learn how and to implement this program to each village they serve in the next year. -------------------------- A Logo/Mission Statement team was established to bring recommendations for a Logo each team might be willing to use for continuity.
Until that time, we would recommend using the original logo. --------------------- An AHMEN Newsletter team was established. We are asking each team/project/support staff to send names and e-mail addresses to Tom Camp: llamacamp@gmail.com to begin developing a data base for this newsletter.

Date has not been set. ------------------------------------ We had a fascinating report from Peggy Polhemus re. a all terrain vehicle being developed for work on the cloud people of Belaria -------------------------------- Record Keeping In Honduras Team was established to develop a system for teams to use while in the field to maintain continuity of care as well as report to Cruzadas and the Honduran Government: Bruce McFadden Mary Guffey Tom Arnold are on this team. if you would like to participate let any of them know. ----------------- We have several AHMEN folks going to various National/International meetings: Honduran Summit in Tenn.
