Workshops Cosuna, Honduras:
In 2011 there were 52 graduates from the Cosuna Workshop, having completed quarterly programs. This year the same 52 members have entered the second phase and are already into their second quarter.
They are identifying their own village problems and developing solutions for these problems. Yoro, Honduras: The Yoro and surrounding villages' ASI will begin in June with a little different "twist".
It is shaping up to be a public/private collaboration including AHMEN, SIFAT, and three other agencies: FIPA, the Ethical Groups Association, and the Secretary of health.
While the details are being worked out, Fanny is the person "on the ground" managing the issues of collaboration with these five agencies. In addition, the local library and several other smaller organizations are interested in sending their own agents over.
Again, we are looking for around 50 community agents. Belarie, Honduras: Byron has had preliminary discussions with Evelyn Constillo, her husband, and several of the AHMEN teams working in that area.
These discussions will continue in the early summer with the possible opening of the third ASI workshop for this year.
