The personal story of one family's love for Honduras....
The AHMEN 2017 La Moskitia medical mission team again went to the small Moskito Indian village of Las Marias this past April. Besides providing needed medical care and quality water systems, a large amount of supplies were given to the two local teachers for the small two-room school in the village. Things like paper, pencils, crayons and notebooks and even library books; the things we take for granted in our schools. The class was given paper and colored pencils and asked to draw important things about their village and home that we should know. The following pages show some of the drawings the teacher sent back with us. Imagine a child using colored pencils and crayons for their first time. Look closely at the pictures and see what is really in their lives, their minds and in their hearts.
